For many of our 2023 couples, this is your first holiday together. Your embarking on a new set of plans, merging families and lifestyles. We think that this is the best time as a newlywed to establish some new traditions for just the two of you as well as reflect back on the year and the close of the engagement chapter. Here are also a few ideas for gifting to loved ones as well.

Use Invites

  1. Simply frame them - we recommend a good flat lay like a photographer
  2. Fill an ornament with clippings from a few extra, add your year and hang it on a tree
  3. Scrapbook or Keepsake box filled with all the little details and leftover

New Traditions

  1. Write an annual letter to gift each other on Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve. Include your top 3 fave moments of the year, a struggle you overcome and what excites you the most about the upcoming year. Make it a tradition of opening it together.
  2. Take a yearly photo. Find a spot that you visit every year and take a photo: couch, tree, porch, restaurant, beach etc. Make this your annual photo op and it can grow as you grow too.
