She asked for an elevated, feminine Hogwarts inspired space and we were there for it. Think blush and pink florals with a nod to the Great Hall. Lots of warm, moody candles and a black and white backdrop amongst The Willows at Ashcombe Mansion. We knew that featuring a custom wedding crest would be the perfect design for their wedding invitations, but little did we know that it would be blown up on their dance floor.
Sheridan and Brandon completely embraced the freedom of design and creativity. When we initially did the custom sketch for their invitations they fell in love with the pink and the custom crest. When it was time to talk day of wedding branding we really went for it with and idea we had to showcase all the things they loved with a curated shelf display that would serve as their seating chart.
We wanted it to feel like you entered a study or a library with books, artifacts, globes and various collectables. The design twist, however, was our focus on the pinks, blacks and whites. We spray painted all the artifacts and painted the book covers to fit into the elevated romantic feel of their day. We love how it showcased who they are as a couple, illustrating their love story throughout their cocktail hour.
We absolutely loved the challenge of sourcing unique items for them - from soccer trophies to succulents and globes to their pets - we included it all. The absolutely best part is they can use some of in their home as an ode to their wedding day.
